Posted in Sparql on 23/09/2013
Just a short excursion to Sparql… Sparql queries could be complex. Very often I struggle to create them or to read existent queries. Let me share my findings: Take the WHERE part of the Sparql query and create a graph. I draw it on simple paper and voilà you will see the search pattern. Also […]
CLM Ontology Part 1 – Gathering
Posted in OWL on 15/09/2013
Today I will start some articles about Ontology, Sparql, CLM with tools like Protege, TopbraidComposer (commercial, with 30 days test period) and Allegrograph (Triplestore) with Gruff. Why not using Open Source tools? Because Topbraid Composer and Allegrograph/Gruff have beautiful Visualizer. If someone knows better Open Source tools, let me know… We will reuse parts of […]

Usage of an Android Tablet with Ubuntu to control the ESXi Server and Openfiler Server

After a long time of review between Openfiler and FreeNAS. I decided to give Openfiler a chance, because it include WebDAV. I use Openfiler mainly as a iSCSI Device…connected to ESXi. I tested also NFS but it was 2 x slower then iSCSI. What I don’t like are the long URL like http://server/mnt/vol01/dav/share/…may be a […]

Today we will look at Apache Wink. Why…because the new OSLC SDK is partly based on Apache Wink. We will create an Eclipse Project with Apache Wink running on Tomcat. This example is based on the example at Developerworks http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/wa-aj-richjava/index.html?ca=drs- The difference to the original article is: * Tomcat 7 as AppServer * Eclipse Source […]
Part 2: OSLC CM only with Jena Framework (simplyfied)
Posted in rtc on 22/05/2012
In Part 1 we extend the OSLC Examples with some Jena Code. The reason for this was the problem with the self signed Certificate of the Jazz Server. In Part 2 we will change the Trustmanager to accept everything. Details about this at http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-fix-certificate-problem-in-HTTPS.html This is only for testing and not for a productive environment.
